Track of the month and what i stumbled upon
I was just looking for a decent picture to illustrate where i got my track of the month from. I’m talking about the second part of Gilles Peterson’s In The House Series On Defected and the track i’m referring to is Peter Kruder’s “Coste” or “Nu Costes Jazz” as called in several versions.
Anyway, it’s on this vinyl and i really love that track. Very cool, afro-rhythm driven deep house tune with oriental strings. But also did i find a video about Gilles Peterson and his massive record collection, recorded by someone of Defected Records. (more…)
